THE GOD OF INTIMACY AND ACTION: Reconnecting Ancient Spiritual Practices, Evangelism, and Justice
written by Tony Campolo and Mary Albert Darling
The book reflects the authors' passion about the transforming importance of honoring both the faith impulses to worship and to serve those in need, and to take arms against the injustice of the world. Its message, and its practical approach to discovering our own spiritual depths and specific practices of faith, are important for Good Shepherd at this time in our parish growth and transformation. All are welcome. Copies of the book are available at the church or at the class for $10 cash/check.
